Projects
In order to promote our school's athletic and entertainment programs, I tried many different techniques and different advertising forms. Here is a brief overview of some...
Hype Videos

One way I directed more attention towards the senior athletes was through hype videos. These videos highlight every sport and the senior athletes from each.
Gameday graphics

Every week, I make gameday graphics for each varsity level event that is scheduled. These graphics are displayed on the TVs throughout the school and then are posted on BLHS Athletic's account on Twitter the day of the event.
media photoshoots

Along with filming hype videos, I have Narissa Hampton or Lexi Fishe take photos of the athletes. I can use these photos for posters or graphics. This also benefits Lexi and Narissa because they get to practice their photography and share their work.
Powderpuff

Combining my marketing project with my Innovation Academy Project I am hosting the first Powderpuff game in 3 years. The games were on November 3rd and started at 6:30.
press box recordings

I explored recording in the press box being played during games. After first downs, our PA would use these recordings. One was a bobcat roar and the other was our very own student section leader, Carter Bergman, yelling his signature quote, "movin' the chains."
Interviews

Partnering with the newspaper, Jaedin Turner and I tried a few "this or that" interviews. The product was really fun and engaging.
CURRENTLY...

For the second semester, I have mainly been working on the entertainment aspect of marketing. I worked closely with the management of the spring play to put together a cast & crew display board.
BLHS NEWS

A team and I are working to create a news broadcast/video segments for the BLHS News account next year. We hope to expand this to a TikTok account. Videos are a fun and interactive way to get the student body engaged.
